REST endpoints

GET/api/v1/health

Service status, version and which optional features are enabled. Use this for uptime checks and verification.

curl https://useanychain.com/api/v1/health

GET/api/v1/resolve?q={input}&ai=0|1

Detect the chain(s) of an address, tx hash, ENS name or domain. Addresses and hashes get live read-only lookups; domains are scanned. ai=1 adds a Claude-written brief when enabled.

curl "https://useanychain.com/api/v1/resolve?q=0xd8dA6BF26964aF9D7eEd9e03E53415D37aA96045"

GET/api/v1/scan?domain={domain}&ai=0|1

Scan a website for chain support: explorer links, contract and wallet addresses (verified on-chain for EVM), wallet tooling, docs and repos. Each finding includes its evidence.

curl "https://useanychain.com/api/v1/scan?domain=ethereum.org"

GET/api/v1/guard?address={a}&chain={id}

Wrong-chain guard. Returns a verdict (ok / warn / danger), reasons and suggested chains.

curl "https://useanychain.com/api/v1/guard?address=1A1zP1eP5QGefi2DMPTfTL5SLmv7DivfNa&chain=ethereum"

GET/api/v1/chains · /api/v1/chains/{id}

The chain registry as JSON.

curl https://useanychain.com/api/v1/chains/solana

MCP server

UseAnyChain exposes a Model Context Protocol server over Streamable HTTP so AI agents (Claude and any MCP client) can resolve inputs, scan domains and check addresses.

# endpoint
https://useanychain.com/api/mcp

# Claude Code
claude mcp add --transport http useanychain https://useanychain.com/api/mcp

# raw JSON-RPC
curl -X POST https://useanychain.com/api/mcp -H "content-type: application/json" \
  -d '{"jsonrpc":"2.0","id":1,"method":"tools/list"}'

Tools: resolve_input, scan_domain, check_address_for_chain, list_chains.

How the AI brief works

All detection, validation and scanning is deterministic code. When ai=1 is passed and the operator has enabled it, Claude receives only the already-parsed JSON facts (never raw pages) and writes a short plain-language brief. Results are cached and capped daily.

Fair use

Read-only data comes from public RPC nodes and explorers and may be rate-limited or briefly unavailable. Don't rely on this API for custody or transaction signing. Need higher limits? Get in touch.
